Product Quality Testing

 

Daily Testing Process of ONU Products

 

1. Appearance Inspection:

 

Inspect the device's housing, nameplate information, foreign objects and noises, power interface, network port, voice port, PON port, switch, side key, REST button, antenna, etc.

 

2. Hardware Detection:

 

a. Check the indicator light after power on (to determine if there is no power or the indicator light is faulty)

 

b. After the hardware self-check is started normally, the network port is connected to the network cable, and the corresponding network port indicator light will be on (to determine if the network port is not connected or the indicator light is faulty).

 

c. The voice port is connected to the phone, and the phone will have an indicator light and sound prompt (to determine if the voice is faulty).

 

d. The optical signal light will flash red when it is not connected to the optical fiber. Use a light cleaning pen to clean the PON port. After cleaning, the PON port is connected to the optical fiber (divided into GPON and EPON). The optical signal light will go out and the network light will flash until it is on.

 

3. Software Testing:

 

1. After entering the webpage, check the device identification code, software version, configuration information, and PON information.

 

2. Check whether the LOID is cleared. If it is completed, it is a good product.

 

4. Arrange Delivery After Passing the Test
